Hello, I’m Marion, a Humanist Celebrant with several years’ experience writing and officiating Wedding Ceremonies.

I’ve worked in many of Scotland’s most well-known prestigious venues and plenty of unusual spaces too. Using my creative writing skills and inspiring delivery style, I help you celebrate your love story in a ceremony that’s straight from the heart.

I write every ceremony from scratch, creating original poetry and handfasting cords for those who want something truly unique. Call for an informal chat.

Marion married us on the 7th May 2017 and made our day just perfect. She offers an amazing personal service, with guide and support throughout the lead up and on your special day. Marion also made us the most beautiful hand fasting ropes which we will be able to keep forever.

We were so incredibly fortunate to find Marion to be our wedding celebrant. When I started planning the wedding, the ceremony was what I was looking forward to the least and thanks to Marion, it was my favourite part of the day. After our original officiant fell through, I found it difficult to find a free celebrant but luckily found Marion. She has an independent designation which meant that my partner and I did not have to pay to join a society or hear about the benefits of that society in our ceremony. She met with us several times and sent us a few questions in order to create our bespoke ceremony. She even penned a poem specifically for our hand-fasting ceremony. She also crafted our individual hand-fasting cords based on our personalities (and outfits, of course!) and gave us a keepsake box to keep them in accompanied by a nice print out of the vows; it’s personal touches like that which just made the day all the more special . After conducting the ceremony she ran the schedule to the council, which gave us one less thing to worry about. The ceremony itself was beautiful and full of laughs. We got so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed it and how it was very ‘us’. It’s now four months later and guests have still been telling me about how they enjoyed the ceremony or were holding back tears. More than one person said it was the best ceremony they had ever been to so I am glad that it wasn’t just the two people getting married who enjoyed it. Marion is a superstar and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Marion married us on the 10th of September 2016 at Pollokshields Burgh Hall. Everything about the ceremony was what we had hoped for and more. Afterwards we had so many guests comment on how beautiful and personal our ceremony was! Marion was extremely helpful throughout the planning of our ceremony and I’m so glad we chose her to marry us, it really was perfect.

Marion married us on the 8th August 2018 – she was fantastic!
Marion took the time to really get to know us and produced a ceremony that was bespoke and really represented us – all our guests have commented on how personal the service was and how it brought them to tears.
Marion offered support and guidance through the whole process, meeting us serveral times to make sure our ceremony was what we wanted it to be. Fantastic experience and we are extremely grateful for all Marion done for us.
Thanks Marion you made our day extra special
