What’s New at Rennick’s Wedding Cars?

We caught up with Emma from Rennick’s Wedding Cars to find out what’s new with this first class Wedding business.

“The new addition to our fleet is the Viscount Vintage 1930s style open tourer, I call her Victoria because she’s so elegant. She seats six people comfortably with little extra touches like an ice bucket, mirror and bouquet holder.

The Viscount Vintage is popular choice to pair with either the Bentley which seats four or one of our Mercedes e-class limousine which can seat seven.

Vinnie the 1972 bay window camper, is also a really popular choice with our couples. We have a real mixture of people who book the camper for their Wedding from fathers of the Brides who had a camper in the 60s or 70s to people who just love the idea of travelling to their big day in a VW.

Couples often ask for how long they should hire their Wedding cars. The duration of the average Wedding hire is around four hours from collection to drop off after the ceremony which generally includes any photography after the ceremony. We can of course, adapt to fit around any schedule a couple have and can advise couples during the booking process.

Rennick’s Wedding Cars can travel around Scotland for Weddings. One of the most unusual Weddings we had the pleasure of attending was in Mallaig in the West Highlands where we transported the cars over on the ferry for the couple. They had a beautiful sunny day for it and it was a really memorable Wedding for our drivers in such a beautiful Scottish location.

Our drivers are in fact very resourceful. At a recent West End Wedding, a Mother of the Bride had a shoe mishap as one of her heels came off. Luckily, as she had arrived in one of our cars, our driver James was still on hand to save the day and he managed to take her shoe to the cobblers and be back in time for the end of the ceremony with her fixed shoe. It was one of our Cinderella moments!”

Rennick’s Wedding Cars is a family-run business based in Thornliebank, south side of Glasgow. They have a wide range of Wedding Cars for you to choose from, all of which can be seen in their showroom. With their Viscount Vintage 1930’s style landaulet, two 1930’s style Regent Landaulet Open Tourers, Bentley Arnage, Chrysler 300c, three matching Mercedes E Class 7 seater limousines and a newly restored 1972 bay window camper van which seats seven passengers, they are sure to have a Wedding Car to match your needs and your style.
